We are seeking an experienced, Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our awesome, fun-loving Emergency/Specialty Veterinary team.
In this position, your duties will include:

• Obtain prescription authorization from doctors 
• Fill prescriptions 
• Help health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone; answering questions and requests.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Take information from clients regarding rx needs
• Ensure that all paperwork is properly filled out
• Perform clerical duties related to the department
