Job Title : Rehab RN
Shift: 6:00 PM-6:30 AM
Contract: 13 Weeks
Location: AlbuquerqueNM

Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments and screenings upon admission of new inmates to identify medical conditions, mental health concerns, and substance abuse issues.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to prescribed protocols and individual care plans.
• Monitor and assess inmates' physical and mental health status, promptly responding to changes or emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, mental health professionals, and other healthcare team members to create individualized care plans.
• Provide education to inmates about their medical conditions, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Assist in managing chronic illnesses, communicable diseases, and mental health disorders within the corrections facility.
• Document and maintain accurate and organized medical records, progress notes, and incident reports.
• Respond to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and coordinating transfer to external medical facilities if necessary.
• Perform routine health checks, administer vaccinations, and conduct health promotion activities to maintain a healthy environment within the facility.
• Adhere to security protocols and maintain the safety and security of both staff and inmates.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in accordance with nursing best practices and regulatory guidelines.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

• Night shift

Weekly schedule:

• 3x12
• Rotating weekends

Experience:

• RN: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Required)
• RN License (Required)
