Job Title : Housing Specialist

Job Location: Cincinnati, OH

Job Description:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in real estate or office management is a plus.
• Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or related field preferred.
• Conduct housing assessments and interviews with clients to determine their housing needs and preferences.
• Assist clients in completing housing applications, rental agreements, and other required paperwork.
• Research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of available housing resources, programs, and subsidies.
• Liaise with landlords, property managers, and housing agencies to secure suitable housing options for clients.
• Provide guidance and support to clients in understanding lease agreements, tenant rights, and responsibilities.
• Conduct housing inspections and ensure properties meet quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with social workers, case managers, and community organizations to coordinate comprehensive services for clients.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions, housing placements, and referrals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to working with diverse populations.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
