| Assist the Purchasing and Inventory Control Specialist with daily duties, including receiving incoming shipments, maintaining the stockroom, pulling parts for assemblies and attending to administrative and clerical duties Assist Purchasing and Inventory Control Specialist with receiving of incoming shipments from UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc. Assist Purchasing and Inventory Specialist with administrative tasks, including filing and clerical duties, and maintaining the Houston stockroom Log receipt of items and distribute mail and packages to Gyrodata, Inc. departments. Input and track inventory received in Manufacturing Resource Planning program. Track Manufacturing Department’s usage of stockroom items in the Manufacturing Resource Planning program. Stock inventory in the appropriate bin location and maintain appropriate bin stock levels. Assist with pulling parts from the stockroom for the Manufacturing Department Operate a forklift when necessary. Comply with applicable safety standards and maintain a safe working environment. Comply with applicable quality assurance standards. The job is performed in an office and shop or warehouse environment with some exposure to safety hazards, potentially including cold, heat, noise, machinery, electricity and chemicals that may require wearing protective equipment and compliance with specific safety protocols. The job requires physical exertion including sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to sixty (30) pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting and a range of physical motion. The job requires operation of tools, machinery, equipment, computers and telephones. The job requires following written and oral instructions, attention to detail, ability to multitask, ability to work with others and ability to meet deadlines.
