Position:

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation has openings for experienced Marketing Director to expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, reliable, demonstrate a desire to learn and is capable of adapting quickly across job functions and responsibilities. Oversee and direct marketing strategies and efforts for the company. Responsible for evaluating and developing a marketing plan, communicating it to the team, researching the market and our competitors, and working with sales team to deliver solutions and optimize profit. Aim to strengthen the company's marketing position and desired business goals.

Essential Duties:

• Branding - Own and preserve branding for corporation. Includes Logos, Trademarks, and signage
  • Sales Collateral - Catalogs, Brochures, Specification Sheets, Line Cards, etc.
  • Branded Material - Brochures, catalogs, clothing, giveaways, etc. Oversee our VistaPrint store
• Corporate Overview Presentation - Administer this presentation. Train leadership and sales force on our unique value and silver bullets
• Websites - Sustain current websites based on GoDaddy platform
• URL's - Maintain current and purchase new URL's when required
• Digital Marketing - Drive customers to our new eCommerce store
• Trade Shows - Lead activities for corporate wide list of tradeshows
• Intellectual Property - Partner with our attorneys on trademarks
• Strategy - Collaborate with leadership team to create, validate, and launch winning strategies for our company
• Advertising - Primary interface to trade publications including Permian Basin International Oil Show, American Oil and Gas Journal, etc.
• Demo Units - Includes skids, trailers, product demos, etc.
• Sales Kickoff - Quarterback leadership team to develop agendas for all sales kickoff meetings. Arrange, attend, and execute all aspects of the meetings
• Training Videos - Spearhead creation of videos for company training website https://www.vztechtalk.com
• Sales Training - Launch training program for outside/inside sales and product champions. Organize, attend, and execute all aspects of the meetings

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or Marketing
• Minimum 10 years' experience
• Industrial background - Strong knowledge of oil and gas, refining, chemicals, power, and other verticals
• Practical expertise with valve automation, flow measurement, instrumentation, and controls products
• Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, GoDaddy, VistaPrint, and MetaTag software
• Branding and Trademarks
• Ability to adapt and function in an environment of changing priorities
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
