Data Analyst
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced data analyst to join our team in the K-12 education space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of data related to student performance, curriculum development, and overall school effectiveness. The successful candidate will work closely with educators, administrators, and other stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and provide data-driven recommendations for enhancing student learning outcomes.
This is an onsite position in Vancouver, WA.
Data Analyst Responsibilities
Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns in student performance, teacher effectiveness, and school operations.
Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports for educators, administrators, and other stakeholders to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that support student achievement and school success.
Conduct research and analysis to inform curriculum development, program evaluation, and other strategic initiatives.
Provide data-driven recommendations to educators and administrators for improving student learning outcomes, increasing student engagement, and enhancing overall school effectiveness.
Communicate complex data findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences, including educators, administrators, and parents.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in education data analysis and incorporate best practices into the organization's data strategy.
Data Analyst Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the K-12 education space.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and statistical software (e.g. R or Python).
Knowledge of education data sources and systems (e.g. state and federal reporting requirements, student information systems).
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data findings and insights to diverse audiences in a clear and concise manner.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is a plus.
A passion for education and a strong commitment to improving student outcomes.

Salary: Up to $107,203 (DOE)
