Vander Haag's Inc is Hiring a Diesel Service Technician (4-day work week!) Near Des Moines, IA
Vander Haag’s has a great opportunity for experienced Diesel Technicians to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa! ASE Certification is preferred, but not required. Vander Haag’s offers:
- Flexible scheduling (4 days/week) with optional overtime
- Hourly base pay that reflects your experience in the industry

- Work in a clean, well-lit shop complete with overhead hoists and shop equipment
At Vander Haag’s, no two days are exactly the same. You get the opportunity to work on a wide range of different heavy-duty truck makes and models! General duties include:
- All types of medium and heavy-duty truck repair
- Engine diagnostics and overhauls
- Drivetrain
- Electrical
- DOT inspections
- PM maintenance
- Hydraulic systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and working area
Hours: Flexible schedule with a 4-day work week. Overtime pay for any hours worked beyond 40 hours/week.
Compensation: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour depending upon experience, ASE Certification, and other qualifications.
