Vana Solutions is Hiring a Remote Recruiter/HR Generalist
Responsibilities:
- Manage job requisitions for online posting to our applicant tracking system.
- Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, networking, using job boards, and other sources to generate interest from candidates.
- Source, screen, schedule interviews, and assist in the candidate selection process.
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines in advance of hiring needs.
- Move hired candidates through the onboarding process to coordinate a successful transition to joining the company.
- Track and record all recruiting and onboarding activities.
- Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates.
- Track recruitment KPIs, like time to hire, source of hire, and time to fill.
- Conduct new hire orientations and complete onboarding tasks with new employees.
- Plan employee engagement events and coordinate details.
- Promote and organize team activities to introduce creative ideas.
- Oversight of employee experience and recognition of birthdays, milestones, and other company swag.
- Work with employees on benefit enrollments, answer benefit-related questions, and reconcile benefit invoices.
- Participates with HR compliance and annual reporting tasks.
- Other duties as required.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Candidates with an Associate degree and four years of experience will also be considered.
- 2 years human resources, recruiting, or business administration experience.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- Experience using social media, and job sites/boards.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
- Good analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Strong Excel Skills, along with proficiency in Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint within the MS Office Suite.
