Job Summary

Are you looking for the opportunity to help lead groups to take their technology stack and evolve it to the next level?

At Vana Solutions we expect all developers to first enjoy solving business problems, and second to amaze with the speed and usability of the product using technology available to them. As a technical lead you will be responsible for driving the technology stack forward while meeting customer needs through small implementation teams. We work with many different new tools, and we don’t expect you will know them all right away. What we do expect is smart, motivated engineers who are ready to learn and implement solutions that deliver results.

Knowledge and Experience:

Leading agile development team(s) to deliver capabilities to meet defined project timelines.
Full stack development experience using a variety of different stacks and technologies.
Ability to work with and optimize interfaces to different database technologies based on project need.
Experience utilizing cloud native technologies such as containers, microservices, orchestrators, storage.
Expertise in implementing DevSecOps practices and capabilities in projects to improve quality, change management, and security of an application.
Experience developing and integrating with Office 365 (Power Apps, Automate, BI, SharePoint, Teams).
Excellent communication and leadership capabilities to drive small technical teams toward goals.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Passionate about technology and end-user experience.
Willing to experiment with new technologies and tools with limited direction.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) related field (e.g., Information Technology, Information Science, etc.)
5 years of experience in both front & back-end development.
2 years leading implementation or project teams.
