Account Manager - Performance Marketing

Valve and Meter is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our Sales/Marketing department. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our client relationships in the performance marketing space.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the performance marketing industry
  • Understand client needs and objectives, and provide strategic recommendations to drive their business growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute performance marketing campaigns
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports to clients, highlighting key insights and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance marketing

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in account management or client-facing roles in the performance marketing industry
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics and KPIs

In a Nutshell

Valve Meter is in search of an Account Manager. The Account Manager is responsible for managing the relationship with and retention of our clients. You own the transformational growth of your clients by monitoring, representing, and optimizing the results of your clients’ marketing dollars. You will ensure each client has a dedicated advocate inside the day-to-day operations of Valve Meter.

What the Role Is

  • Each V M employee must represent our core values in each interaction
  • Our office is located in the Fishers, IN; all employees may work remotely or in the office
  • This role reports to the VP of Account Management
  • Responsibilities:
    • Monitor Client Health
    • Client Communication
    • Identify Client Opportunities
    • Quarterly Business Reviews
    • Client Renewals
  • Activities:
    • Maintain knowledge of all marketing programs
    • Analyze client scorecards
    • Determine the effectiveness of ongoing campaigns
    • Identify and interpret trends as appropriate
    • Request and review ad hoc data analysis
    • Build and maintain relationships with both the client and internal team
    • Coordinate and facilitate client meetings (weekly, quarterly, etc.)
    • Recommend, architect, and test opportunities to increase return on marketing spend
    • Work with team to optimize content and improve conversions
    • Negotiate agreement renewals

  • Hunter / Sales Person; you don’t have to build your own book of business
  • “Set it and forget it” relationship; you own the client relationship and their performance
