Overview

All Metro Health Care, a Modivcare Personal Care Service, is looking for a Director of Nursing responsible for directing client nursing services provided by the organization and works in collaboration cross functionally with team's throughout the company.

• Pay: $120,000 - $150,000, based on experience
• Schedule: M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM 
• Candidate may be outside the NYC area must must be comfortable with traveling
• Travel: Downstate/Upstate NY offices as needed
• Main Office: 70 Sunrise Hwy suite 520, Valley Stream, NY 11581

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for nursing, ensuring exceptional client services.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and organizational policies.
• Maintain adequate staffing with qualified personnel to meet patient needs, standards, and goals. 
• Foster collaboration and professional growth through impactful meetings and team development.
• Coordinate the Quality Improvement Program for compliance and best practices.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor patient outcomes and implement strategies for enhanced care.
• Address patient concerns and support operations in addressing trends.
• Support contract negotiation and identify opportunities for engagement.
• Perform nursing team functions, including home visits when necessary.
• Define annual Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals.
• Manage budgets and optimize operational performance.
• Occasionally travel for business purposes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• 10 years of community health and/or home health, preferably personal care and private duty nursing
• 5 years of LHCSA experience highly preferred
• 5 years of leadership or management experience required
• 5 years of leading/managing multiple site nursing teams
