Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Office Lead to join our team. As an Office Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. If you have a passion for providing outstanding customer service, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting with customer inquiries
- Operate cash register or POS system to process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office area and workstations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service
- Exercise decision-making capabilities when working with customers and store personnel on invoice orders
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
-Communicate professionally and appropriately with customers via telephone
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate department
- Perform clerical tasks such as typing, data entry, proofreading, and filing
- Assist with order entry and inventory management
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient communication and workflow
- Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate information about our products or services
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
Experience:
-High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
-Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team members
-Demonstrated ability to handle customer calls displaying good phone skills
-Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office or similar software for calendar management, email, and document creation/editing
-Adaptability; flexible to shifting priorities and a changing environment
- Previous experience in the customer service industry as a leader is preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs are a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with cash register operations and handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
-Track record of serving others and putting team goals first
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
