Summary
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems safely and correctly.
- Uphold a secure and productive work environment by adhering to all company and OSHA guidelines; report any policy violations to your immediate supervisor.
- Engage proactively in department workflows to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) via mobile phone for work orders, inventory management, and to identify warranties.
- Offer solutions during high-demand periods when staff resources are stretched.
- Prioritize safety; report unsafe conditions, work-related accidents, and near misses.
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions and activities.
- Inform management when tools and supplies are needed for repairs.
- Possess working knowledge across various areas including electrical, drywall, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and framing.
- Be flexible with work hours as necessary.
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in maintenance or construction.
- Proficiency in using a wide range of power and hand tools.
- Self-starter who can work independently and solve problems on the fly.
- A strong desire to learn and collaborate with team members.
