VALiNTRY is in search of a Technical Service Engineer specialized in the Oil and Gas Industry, with proficiency in Upstream, Downstream, and Midstream sectors.Summary: The Technical Services Engineer plays a pivotal role in providing technical expertise to customers, regulatory agencies, distributors, and sales personnel. They are responsible for addressing product-related inquiries, issues, and challenges, as well as furnishing technical data required for product demonstrations. This role involves making technical presentations, acting as a liaison between sales personnel and clients, and facilitating communication with technical staff.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Educate potential customers on the superior advantages of our flexible steel pipe.Conduct market comparisons with competitors to highlight the benefits of choosing our product.Provide comprehensive pre-sales technical consultancy to sales staff and potential clients, including participation in conference calls and site visits.Document all customer queries for immediate follow-up and resolution.Collaborate with account executives during the proposal phase to ensure alignment with customer requirements.Support Account Management, Marketing, and customers in understanding product features and their potential value for new pipelines or rehabilitation applications.Interpret technical procedures, industry standards, and governmental regulations, providing feedback to R&D teams regarding product conformance.Actively participate in industry standard committees.Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and seminars.Produce clear and consistent documentation for technical manuals, procedural guides, and marketing materials.Manage multiple projects concurrently with a high level of initiative and organization.Occasionally travel to customers and suppliers.Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical Services Engineering Supervisor.Supervisory Responsibilities: This position may involve directing or coordinating the work activities of others, although there are currently no direct reports.Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, graphical software, and online tools.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-tasking team environment.Excellent presentation and communication skills across all levels.Capacity to meet tight deadlines.Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Mechanical, Civil (Structural), or Petroleum Engineering, with five to ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Professional Engineer registration is desirable.Physical Demands: Regular activities include standing, walking, and verbal communication.Occasional activities include sitting, reaching, climbing, and stooping.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally more than 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities such as close vision, color vision, and depth perception are required.Work Environment: Work settings may vary from typical office environments to outdoor conditions exposed to elements like sun, wind, and rain.Involvement in activities with high-pressure equipment, moving machinery, excessive noise, and elevated working conditions.Travel up to 50% may be required.#INDITWe are not currently accepting candidates who have been submitted by other staffing firms or agencies.
