Valiant Punta Gorda, Addiction Treatment Center is a small Christian Based company in Punta Gorda, FL. We are an abstinence based In-Patient center, providing professional and compassionate care to our clients.

We're looking to hire a counselor with a background in addiction to work with our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience working with clients who have substance abuse issues. This position will require regular one-on-one sessions with clients, as well as group counseling sessions. An ideal candidate will be able to effectively assist individual and group clients with their substance abuse issues, and help them live healthy, drug-free lives that are free of addiction. Part and full time position available.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, group, family and aftercare counseling.
• Complete daily required paperwork for each client in EMR system.
• Client Assessments, treatment plans, etc.
• Communicates and works effectively with other team members
• Understand and comply with DCF / Joint commission requirements
• Understands and adheres to company poicies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Minimum BA in related field, Preferred MA
• Preferred - Florida State licenced

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
