Position Summary
  • Valaurum is growing rapidly, and we are looking to hire an Account Representative to work with our internal teams and develop strong relationships with our clients. Our ideal candidate will communicate regularly with clients, address client concerns and keep track of client transactions and payments. They will ensure beautiful (and timely) results for Valaurum and the client, while also developing the relationship between Valaurum and its marketing partners. This is a non-supervisory position that reports to the Customer Success Manager.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between select clients and the Valaurum team
  • Answer emails and phone calls related to new and existing projects
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of project operations including client relationships and interdepartmental communication
  • Work closely with Customer Success Manager, Production Planner, and executive team to work through client issues
  • Provide support, clear communication, and status updates for internal team and clients during all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Reach out to prospective clients and wholesale customers to develop relationships and sign up new accounts
  • Respond to sales inquiries
  • Provide customer service support for retail orders
  • Follow process workflow documents and checklists
  • Suggest workflow and process improvements
  • Respond to sales inquiries
  • Travel for trade shows and industry events 5-15%
Requirements or Equivalent Experience
  • 5 years related work experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to anticipate the needs of customers
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical thinking skills
  • Should possess strong problem solving skills and the ability to make sound judgment calls
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of customer service programs and databases, or the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Innovative, creative thinking skills to ensure the organization is providing a cutting edge client experience
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables at a given time
  • Highly proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Proficiency with remote conferencing
  • Advanced problem solving skills for identifying and addressing client concerns
  • Can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Due to nature of product, background check required
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with managing multiple concurrent client accounts
  • Experience with project management software (Basecamp or similar)
  • Background in printing and/or commercial art development
  • Interested in art, photography, and/or precious metals industry
