Meat Wrapper's main responsibilities are:

• Wrapping and pricing meat products.

• Ensure products in tray meet managers specifications for size and appearance.

• Ensure labels have correct prices and product descriptions.

• Constantly check the display areas to ensure they are stocked with fresh products and communicate with meat cutters when display inventory is low.

• Prepare merchandise for the following days according to the department standards.

• Monitor wrapping supplies to ensure adequate stock of items.

• Maintain cleanliness of display and working areas.

• Answer customer questions regarding menu suggestions, portions, cooking techniques.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Able to lift 50 pounds, standing, bending, working in cooler.

• Able to learn to identify all meat and related merchandise.

• Ability to use pricing machines and pricing guns.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to the team as a whole.
