POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, administers Physical Therapy services and care to patients per physician’s orders. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as, Health System initiatives. Coordinated family involvement in treatment of the patient. |
EDUCATION/TRAINING: Completion of an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. |
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current license from the State of Illinois or in the process of acquiring licensure per department policy. BLS/CPR certification required. |
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job, specific competencies and skill verification tools required. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in a caring, considerate and concerned manner. |
