Overview and Essential Functions Prince Telecom is currently hiring qualified Fiber Splicers to join our team in the Atlanta area to help connect America.

As a full service telecommunications company, we specialize in building, maintaining, and managing some of the largest upgrades, rebuilds and new builds as well as a wide range of services including aerial and underground construction, structured wiring, fiber splicing, cable mining, and engineering for the fiber to the home market.

We provide paid training, full benefits, and tuition assistance. Responsibilities : You will perform tasks associated with the electronic upgrade and splicing of cable You will test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation You will self-supervise all operations to ensure that all splicing operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications.

You will safely operate and use bucket truck to complete daily construction assignments as needed (potentially climb poles) You will complete daily production reports, mark-up maps, keep track of work hours, complete "as-built maps" for areas built and track daily production You will reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.

You will frequently work independently You will perform other splicing related duties as assigned Qualifications Who we are looking for You are at least 18 years old You are authorized to work in the United States for this company You have a valid standard driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience You have the experience with using a variety of tools.

You have the ability to communicate effectively.
