The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked No. 1 hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and No. 2 hospital in Texas by U.S. News and World Report, is seeking a full-time, board certified/eligible Physiatrist who will work with approximately 60 clinical and research faculty to help patients manage their conditions and improve their quality of life. The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, chaired by Dr. Heakyung Kim, provides services at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Clements University Hospital, and their affiliated outpatient clinics. • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree or foreign equivalent
• ABPMR Board certified/eligible
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure and its acquisition prior to the start of employment

Role Responsibilities and Duties:

The ideal candidate will provide high quality, comprehensive clinical care to inpatients and outpatients as assigned.Teaching responsibilities will include medical students, PM&R residents and fellows in didactic lectures and group settings as well as participation in various multidisciplinary conferences.Research will vary depending on the candidate’s interest.Research Environment:
