USUI International is Hiring a Production Superintendent | 1st | SVP Near Sharonville, OH
- Oversee, direct, and develop the production department.
- Follow the production schedule. If unable to do so, immediately notify Manager and follow his/her direction. Confirm the output hourly to ensure planned production targets are met. If production delays occur, take action to correct the shortfall and notify Manager.
- Lead the front-line supervisors in production, establish objectives, and set goals to ensure accountability.
- Ensure all employees are following the policies and procedures.
- Lead the production department, assist with adequate staffing levels, training, development, attendance, disciplinary issues, safety, and front-line supervisors.
- Coach and develop a high performing leadership team that meets manufacturing targets while driving efficiency, quality, and safety objectives.
- Promote and drive 4S shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant and personnel.
- Ensure all operational and production specific documentation is maintained internally and externally.
- Work as part of the leadership team, attending meetings, supporting customer visits and assisting with internal and external audits.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Tier One or Tier Two Production Supervision Experience Manufacturing is a plus
- Knowledge of automotive OEM structure (Ford, Honda, GM, Nissan and others)
- Experience supervising 100 employees or more
- Ability to analyze problems, work independently as well as in a team environment, and organize and execute multiple tasks
- Ability to communicate well with excellent oral and written skills. (Japanese language, a plus)
- Proficient in standard MS office PC/software applications. Knowledge of MRP Plex (a plus)
- ISO/TS 16949 working knowledge/experience
- Familiarity with T1 automotive operations to include; EDI, ASN, MRP, 8D, 6S, and Poke Yokes is a plus
