We are expanding our teams to support the impressive growth forecast as popularity of Amazon Connect solutions gain market share. Our solutions span multiple channels, numerous business segments and a vast variety of system integrations. We are looking for a motivated, driven and reliable Release Engineer to help our teams achieve excellence in the delivery of our cloud solutions. The ideal candidate for this role should possess good communication skills, be well organized and a self-starter, take ownership, and have a deep understanding of the Azure Devops platform with the keen ability to work with cross functional teams internally and external customers to identify gaps, needs, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain build pipelines of services integrated with our cloud environments, including proprietary in-house systems and external integrations
• Create and maintain release pipelines for various environments
• Assist the development teams in developing Terraform installation scripts
• Assist customers with creating pipelines and adherence to best-practice guidelines
• Proactively identify areas of improvement in the development life-cycle and work with team leads to implement improvements and better handoffs to internal teams
• Build formal processes to help streamline new customer engagements and onboarding

 Basic Qualifications

• College degree in Computer Science or a related field or 5-10 years of experience working in the IT field.
• 2 – 4 years’ previous experience as a release engineer.
• 2 – 3 years’ experience working with Azure Devops preferred
• Experience working with cloud pipelines built with Terraform
• Experience building custom Terraform providers
• Experience implementing CI/CD release pipelines and continuous testing using tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle, as well as understanding of DevOps tools, technologies, and techniques.
• Experience working in a waterfall software development life cycle
• Knowledge of systems, security and networking as it relates to and impacts the development environment.
• Analyzing organization capabilities in order to suggest process and performance improvement
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams to task completion.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
