Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: The Senior Procurement Manager for Business and Professional Services is responsible for strategic sourcing, contracting, and category management of indirect spending for corporate professional services and functional support for HR, Finance, R&D, Supply Chain, and Legal services, with over $140M in spend responsibility. In this role, you will: Sole responsibility to strategically source, contract for, and manage category strategies for corporate and professional services and the HR function. Shared responsibility for the Finance, R&D, Legal, and Supply Chain functions. Develop and execute category strategies with key business stakeholders. Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts across the entire contract lifecycle. Manage and continuously improve the Clorox-supplier relationship in addition to executing all necessary transactional processes. Strategically manage and lead multiple complex sourcing initiatives with client departments. Evaluate business opportunities to maximize cost savings and provide the best service, quality and supplier capability. Create and issue RFxs and use e-sourcing tools to solicit supplier proposals. Provide stakeholders with tools and best practices to use in evaluating and managing current and potential suppliers. Negotiate contracts and facilitate the contract review process with Legal, stakeholders, and suppliers. Research and analyze spend data and market intelligence to quantify business decisions and identify opportunities. Develop and implement direction and strategy with stakeholder managers of ongoing sourcing plans and timelines. Drive continuous improvement in category management, sourcing, and contracting processes. Drive and support Clorox’s IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Allyship) goals and initiatives through sourcing and negotiations. Thought leader in Procurement activities across Sourcing organization, with passion for developing best-in-class sourcing team. Support strategic supplier relationships with key suppliers to meet/exceed company requirements for cost, quality, and services. Develop and implement direction and strategy with stakeholder managers for ongoing sourcing and cost savings plans, and timelines. What we look for: 7 years of supply chain or related industry experience with 5 years of demonstrated ability in Procurement and at least 2 years of experience in Indirect Procurement (HR Services, Corporate Administration, Legal and/or Professional Services & Labor spend categories) working with suppliers/vendors/external partners, developing contracts or negotiating agreements. B.A. or B.S. Degree in related disciplines (Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance), or equivalent experience. Understanding of sourcing processes, contract negotiation, and contract terms. Strong/Advanced negotiation skills. Ability to interface effectively across all levels of the organization, with ability to influence without explicit authority. Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills (in English). Able to articulate complex business situations clearly and articulately. Planning and organization skills—Ability to establish work plans, multi-task and prioritize simultaneous projects. Experience in leading cross-functional teams through a defined sourcing process Experience with eSourcing and eProcurement tools Must be able to balance multiple projects and responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities as well as differing priorities within stakeholder departments.
