Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: We’re actively looking for a talented and driven intern to join our Enterprise Security Architect team. In this position, you’ll take charge of strategizing and creating security solutions that align seamlessly with our business goals while adhering to relevant regulations and our internal policies. As a Security Architect Intern, you’ll collaborate across teams to evaluate risks, pinpoint vulnerabilities, and propose effective security measures and mitigation strategies. Your valuable contributions will be instrumental in protecting our organization’s sensitive data and maintaining a strong security stance in the ever-evolving cloud environment. In this role, you will: Support security roadmaps: Assist in planning and developing security strategies aligned with enterprise architecture best practices and implement security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business, technology, and threat drivers Maintain security process: Create and manage security artifacts (e.g., models, templates, standards, and procedures), ensuring alignment with business needs and technology. Review and enhance: Evaluate infrastructure, configurations, and tools to enhance security with recommendation for changes to mitigate risks Assess new services: Evaluate new services, vendors, applications, and security tools, among other items; Analyze technical aspects and perform review of security configurations and access to security infrastructure tools, including firewalls, IPSs, WAFs and anti-malware/endpoint protection systems Set security standards: Define baseline configurations for operating systems (e.g., OS hardening), network segmentation and identity and access management (IAM) management. What we look for: Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, Network Security, technology or similar field is desired Experience working with Security benchmarks Demonstrate experience and knowledge involving the development of multi-tier and cross-platform architecture plans to include enterprise workflows, and distributed intranet/internet architecture A background/education in general security practices such as identity and access management (IAM), encryption, multi-factor authentication, security information and event management (SIEM), network security, application security, server security and supporting technologies Workplace type: Hybrid We seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
