R10041183 Assistant Branch Manager (Open) Location: Colorado Springs, CO - Retail shop How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Position Title: Assistant Branch Manager Colorado Springs, CO Monday thru Friday, daytime hours How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? SUMMARY: The Assistant Branch Manager will be responsible for all distribution, safety, maintenance, dispatching and other activities as required. Help with inside sales, placing orders, answering phones, and helping customers. Overseeing all outgoing shipments including preparing paperwork, assisting in loading and unloading of product, and verifying of return product. The ideal candidate will be able to function effectively with minimum supervision, and have the desire to lead the employees and ensure top notch customer satisfaction. In particular you will: Ensure all customers receive quality customer service from company associates. Checks accounts receivable as to status of existing accounts; communicates with credit department and contacts customers regarding overdue payments. Responsible for all operations associated with the branch including, routing and maintenance of delivery trucks, warehouse, inside sales, and compliance issues (paperwork). Assist with activities directed to achieving sales and margin goals. Organize monthly safety meetings and strictly enforce safety rules. Function in the capacity of Branch Manager when necessary. Provide direction, leadership and communication and cooperation within the branch. Maintain corporate image and philosophy in all contact with co-workers, customers and vendors. Manage direct reports. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure stock transfers and backorders are promptly and accurately completed. Ensure load manifests are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shippers. Complete quarterly cylinder inventory, and maintain inventory accuracy. Assist with VMI functions, cylinder staging, routing, loading/unloading of trucks, as necessary. Other duties and projects as assigned. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have strong computer experience. Ability to routinely lift 25 - 50 lbs., and occasionally lift 51 - 80 lbs. Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines. Must be able to work occasional overtime if necessary. Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -15 to 100 degrees. Must meet all physical qualification standards imposed by regulation for drivers. Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE DESIRED: Some basic knowledge or experience in welding. Some experience in handling compressed gases. SAP software a plus Customer service or sales experience.
