Job Description We are seeking an experienced Lead Drupal Web Developer to spearhead the development and maintenance of our content management systems, leveraging Drupal's capabilities to create robust and scalable digital experiences. Position Overview: As the Lead Drupal Web Developer for our content management system (CMS), you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of CMS development projects, ensuring their successful delivery, and providing leadership to our development team. This role combines hands-on coding expertise with leadership and project management skills. Key Responsibilities: 1.Drupal Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of custom Drupal-based CMS solutions tailored to our needs. 2.Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of Drupal developers, providing technical expertise and direction to ensure high-quality work. 3.CMS Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement CMS architectures that meet scalability, security, and performance requirements. 4.Module Development: Create and customize Drupal modules and themes to enhance functionality and user experience. 5.Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for testing and quality assurance to ensure reliable and error-free CMS deployments. 6.Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize CMS performance, including page load times and database efficiency. 7.Security: Implement and maintain robust security practices to protect CMS data and infrastructure from threats. 8.Version Control: Utilize version control systems to manage codebase and ensure efficient collaboration among team members. 9.Documentation: Maintain clear and organized documentation of CMS configurations, code, and best practices. 10.Stay Current: Keep abreast of emerging Drupal trends, CMS technologies, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience). •10 years of professional experience in Drupal web development, with a proven track record of leading development teams. • Experience with Acquia Cloud Platform, Cloud IDE, Code Studio, Site Studio • Experience with Azure DevOps and SDLC Governance • Expertise in Drupal CMS architecture and development, including custom module and theme development. •Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies. •Strong understanding of content management systems, databases, and server environments. •Experience with version control systems, such as Git. •Solid knowledge of web security best practices. •Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. •Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
