Job Title

VP Human Resources

This role serves as the primary HR partner for a designated business segment, providing consultative guidance and strategic support to drive talent management, organizational development, and workforce planning initiatives. Talent expertise contributes to the overall success of the organization by aligning human capital strategies with business goals to solve challenging talent opportunities and deliver a best-in-class employee experience. This role will have a dual reporting structure; directly into the Segment Leader to ensure prioritization of segment goals and to the Chief People Officer to ensure alignment with global HR processes. As a highly skilled and experienced HR Partner, this role serves as a member of the Segment Leadership Team (SLT) and the Human Resources Leadership Team (HRLT).

Roles & Responsibilities

* Collaborates closely with segment leadership to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities. Translate business needs into comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives that drive talent attraction, retention, and development.

* Active voice and leader-peer of team that drives the oversight of business unit performance.

* Immersed in all aspects of the business including portfolio management (choices to invest based on labor stability, skill availability, optimal site analysis, etc.

* In collaboration with HR Centers of Expertise, works to execute on strategic HR processes and tools in support of segment objectives.

* Advances global talent management processes and strategies including selection, onboarding, development, and succession planning. Advise on performance optimization, career pathing, and leadership development to grow our talent pipeline.

* Utilize strategic workforce planning methodology to identify and address gaps between current and desired organization performance. Utilize data driven insights to monitor HR metrics and trends and mitigate people related risks through proactive measures.

* Lead efforts to enhance the organization's capability and effectiveness by recommending and facilitating programs that align with strategic goals and foster a high-performance culture; apply change leadership to ensure smooth transitions and successful implementation of new programs.

* Partner with segment and business unit leaders to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Recommend strategies for improving workplace morale, communication, and work-life balance.

* Partners with and influences cross functional centers of expertise to ensure seamless delivery of HR programs and services across the company. Review and benchmark internal and external environment to identify opportunities for new and enhanced programs.

* Coach senior leaders to improve leadership abilities, relationships among teams/individuals and interpersonal communications. Deliver effective performance feedback.

* Act as a leader of culture and engagement, ensuring a unified culture with a well-understood mission, vision, and values that is lived and felt throughout the organization and drives strong levels of employee engagement

* Responsible for elevating the strategic focus of the HRBP community, providing coaching on the development of strategic partnerships with their business leaders and leveraging the HR Operating Model and Centers of Excellent (CoEs) for operational efficiency.

* Ensures a strong and consistent HR brand through HR Business Partner development in response to employee related concerns, complaints, and workplace investigations like allegations of workplace harassment and reductions-in-force. Encourages best practice sharing and processes improvement across the HR Business Partner team.

* Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies and mitigate HR related risks through effective communication, training, manager coaching, and proactive measures.

* Domestic and International travel approximately 10-30%

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field

* Master's Degree, HR Certification Preferred

Skills & Experience:

* Recommended 20 years related work experience, with progressive executive level HR partnership on long-term, strategic talent initiatives within diverse organizational contexts

* Strong financial, business acumen and program management skills

* Enterprise leader with multi-site manufacturing industry experience

* Extensive experience influencing and coaching leaders within global, cross-functional and matrix organizations.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven and results-oriented approach.

* Demonstrated experience in operational excellence, process improvement, and driving efficiencies.

* Broad and comprehensive business and HR acumen, theories, systems, and the changing business environment.

* Ability to effectively lead and develop team of HR Business Partners

* Exhibits strong interpersonal and organizational skills, great attention to detail as well as excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills

* Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and background

* Exhibits effective cooperation and communication skills to effectively work within a team environment

Target Hiring Range

Annual Salary: USD 230,000.00 - USD 350,000.00
