1) Oversee the book keeper for the establishment, usually in conjunction with the Administrator.

2) Maintain and completes financial records of facility according to established company policy and procedures. Insure that the payroll is accurate and submitted on time.

3) Maintains facility occupancy records.

4) Supervises office personnel.

5) Operates computer and performs data entry.

6) Communicates effectively via telephone.

7) Acts as Management information Systems designee.

8) Manages department expenditures within facility budget guidelines.

1) High School diploma or equivalent.

2) Business school course work or work experience in the field.

3) Knowledge of Medicare/Medi-cal reimbursement.

4) Sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform the tasks required.

5) Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.

6) Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

7) Must possess the ability to deal with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

8) Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to managed care and nursing care facilities.

9) Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.

10) Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.

11) Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.

12) Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.

13) Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
