The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the provision of services, assisting with the oversight of administrative processes, and clinical supervision of staff in a clinic setting. This clinic provides assistance for people who are facing a wide range of emotional and social problems. Services for adults and children include evaluation and assessment, medication management, crisis intervention, time-effective and ongoing therapy, and more. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other mental health professionals.
Responsibilities
Assist with oversight of the day-to-day clinical operation of the clinic, including intake assessment, service planning, clinical interventions, and discharge planning.
Provide direct individual & group clinical supervision to clinic staff.
Provide relevant training to staff (e.g., co-occurring disorders, motivational interviewing).
Model and coach staff in recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally competent care.
Ensure provision of evidence-based practices for youth and adults with behavioral health needs who have been involved in the criminal justice system.
Conduct Quality Assurance ensuring compliance.
Requirements
New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker required, current, valid registration
Minimum of one year of clinical supervision experience preferred
Experience working with justice-involved individuals with behavioral health needs helpful
