US Global Mail is Hiring an Office Manager/Executive Administrator Near Houston, TX

We are looking for a reliable Office /Executive Administrator. The successful candidate will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. They will also be assisting two owners with calendar management and other personal tasks to make them more effective. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. The office administrator ensures smooth running of our company’s offices and managing a medium size group of about 15-20 personnel. Our company is growing rapidly and we promote a welcoming and engaging environment with plenty of room to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for 2 owners/ executives
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Assist colleagues, especially controller with QuickBooks tasks, when necessary.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of QuickBooks will be a plus.
  • A college degree or working towards it is preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
