Previous insurance billing and coding experience required.

Responsibilities:
- Payment posting
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing issues over the phone and via the Internet

Skills:
- Proficient in medical billing and coding
- Typing and 10-key with Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Familiarity with insurance billing guidelines and reimbursement processes
- Ability to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals, insurance companies, and patients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
