Responsibilities:
· Assemble components and parts according to blueprints and specifications
· Use power tools and hand tools to fabricate and modify parts as needed
· Weld and solder components together to create finished products
· Detail finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
· Light Assembly
· Some spot welding
· Carry out basic quality and testing checks
· Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse
· Pack goods to be shipped
· Maintain work areas and equipment
· Fanuc Mig Weld Programmer / Set up.
· Production support and maintenance
· Ability to repair failed robot welds with fabrication skills
· RSW = Resistance spot welding
· PW = Projection Welding
· GMAW = Gas metal arc welding (also referred to as MIG)
· GTAW = Gas tungsten arc welding (also referred to as TIG)
· SPR = Self piercing rivets
· Clinch
Qualifications:
· Experienced Body in White joining assembler.- 2-3 years of experience
· Should be versed in all joining applications to include: 2 years of experience
· RSW = Resistance spot welding—2 years’ experience
· PW = Projection Welding- 2 years’ experience
· GMAW = Gas metal arc welding (also referred to as MIG) 2-3 years of experience
· GTAW = Gas tungsten arc welding (also referred to as TIG) 2-3 years of experience
· SPR = Self piercing rivets- 1-2 years of experience
· Previous experience in assembly or a related field is preferred
· Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for fabrication and modification
· Knowledge of welding techniques and soldering skills
· Familiarity with airless paint spraying and auto painting techniques
· Experience in auto restoration is a plus
· Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications accurately
· Strong work ethic and organizational skills
· Able to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
· Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted; anything 50 pounds or over will have lifting aids available and or a two-man lift will be required.
Must have reliable mode of transportation and great attendance record. Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements.
