Overview- MUST KNOW TRUMPF LASER MACHINES - AND ABLE TO PROGRAM
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Programmer/ Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience operating/ programming on and off line trumpf lasers. This role is essential in ensuring the precision and quality of our products, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities: Operators/ programmers are responsible for set-up and operation of laser cutting machines to produce products meeting customer quality requirements. Operators must also operate and process parts according to print and traveler requirements. Operators must monitor machine cutting performance and utilization.
- · Able to program on and offline (Tru Tops, Catia) for the Trumpf laser
- Understands machine setup including the following: program retrieval & editing, proper gases, proper nozzles, and materials.
- Understanding of start-up and shut down for Trumpf laser machines.
- Diagnose machining problems while performing jobs, making modifications as needed.
- Able to perform laser cutting operations efficiently and effectively, according to Work Instructions.
- Able to check Quality of product machined and notify supervisor of process issues.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping per established schedules.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements/Preferred
- Ability to read blueprints a must
- Ability to follow and complete daily production schedules
- Trumpf Laser Experience is a must.
- 3-5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use basic math to analyze information and measuring equipment.
- Additional courses in Laser set-up and operation.
- Experience with Rotary Cutting
- Good attendance.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work with close tolerances.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction and written processes.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Equipment: Laser machines, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment as required.
