Commercial Concierge

OVERVIEW

The Commercial Concierge is responsible for attending to tenants and engaging with them to ensure they have a top-notch experience while working in the building, neighborhood and city. The Concierge is the first point of contact for tenants and guests when they enter, and is responsible for building strong relationships with them and other staff members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver amazing customer service by having a hospitality-focused, customer-first mindset.
Greet all tenants and guests by name upon their arrival, delivering high-quality customer service
Maintain the security of the area:
- Register guests and delivery people and announce their arrival
- Maintain accurate records of call logs, visitor lists, and other relevant material for reference or audits
- Monitor building security via cameras and inform building management of necessary situations.
Manage incoming calls and emails: Direct them to the appropriate person or department, or take messages when necessary.
Utilize the building's technology system and respond to inquiries/questions. Be comfortable reaching out to support when needed.
Manage the day to day operations of the conference center, reservations process, and work diligently with catering team to ensure seamless delivery. Assist with any administrative tasks needed in a meeting room (i.e. filing, data entry, and photocopying).
Coordinate technology needs according to customers’ requirements.
Conduct regular quality-control walk-throughs of the amenities areas, handling concerns/issues in the moment. Report any urgent or unusual matters to your manager and/or building maintenance staff as appropriate.
Manage relationships with in-house customers and key vendors.
Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to according to law
May be called to assist in other amenity areas. Completes special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

YOU NEED

A college degree strongly preferred, or equivalent job-related experience
Prior work experience in the conference or hotel industry, or similar
Experience setting up and trouble-shooting virtual conferencing software
A great sense of humor and sense of fun

Prior experience in Administrative roles
Additional language skills

$20/hour, full-time: This position includes health benefits, vacation, sick time.
