Job Title: Urban Outfitters Director, Performance Marketing

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Overview: The Director of Performance Marketing is responsible for leading the development and execution of digital marketing strategies aimed at driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across various channels. You will oversee a team of skilled marketers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize campaigns, maximize ROI, innovate on new ideas and enhance the overall performance of Urban Outfitters' digital marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Digital Marketing Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives, customer behavior and industry trends focusing on performance metrics such as ROI, conversion rates, customer lifetime value, and customer acquisition cost.
  • Manage Paid Media Campaigns: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across channels such as paid search, display advertising, social media, and affiliate marketing to drive traffic and revenue.
  • Optimize For eCommerce Conversion: Collaborate with the e-commerce and analytics teams to optimize website conversion rates through A/B testing, landing page optimization, and user experience enhancements.
  • Analyze Performance Data: Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Budget Management: Manage the performance marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to initiatives with the highest potential for ROI and other strategic impact.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve the brand’s marketing efforts.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of performance marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including brand marketing, e-commerce, creative, and analytics to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts across all touchpoints.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred; or relevant years of work experience
  • 10 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on performance marketing, preferably in the retail, e-commerce or direct-to-consumer industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and platforms, including paid search, display advertising, social media advertising, and affiliate marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and derive actionable insights to optimize marketing performance.
  • Experience managing and optimizing marketing budgets to maximize ROI.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
