Full-Time and Part-Time (PT) Veterinary Receptionist / Technician assistant

Calling all personable experienced veterinary receptionists with tech assistant experience!

• Full-Time (FT) Mon, Wednesday and Thursday (10-7p) and Sunday (11-3p)
• Part-Time (PT) - Fridays (10-7p) and half day Saturdays! (10-3p)

State-of-the-art facility veterinary hospital in the Houston Heights is seeking one FT and one PT experienced Veterinary Receptionist/Technician assistant to join the team (15-35 hours per week depending on position) on a permanent basis. The hours are 10-7p weekdays 10-3p Saturday and 11-3p Sunday.

Required:

Ideal candidate will have at least three years experience working as a Veterinary Customer Service liaison / Receptionist and have some animal handling training

Experience and excellent people and organizational skills are encouraged to apply. (These skills are mandatory)

Tasks: scheduling, answering phones and working with medical records and veterinary software as well as experience handling animals and assisting doctors and technicians

Candidates should be able to handle 2-3 calls at a time, schedule client appointments, use client database for follow up calls and entering records, greet clients, fax, receive records, interact with well with clients and support the other team members in a growing veterinary practice.
