Overview of the role:

Upshop is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Corporate Recruiter to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for following the company's recruitment process, sourcing, identifying top talent, and building a strong pipeline. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and requirements and guide the process from initial sourcing to offer negotiations. This position is a hybrid opportunity in Austin, Texas and will report to the VP of People.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and negotiating/closing offers
  • Maintain and log all activities in our ATS, Greenhouse
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates using various sourcing methods such as job postings, social media, referrals, and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific recruitment needs and requirements
  • Develop job descriptions, job postings, and other recruitment-related materials that reflect the company's culture and values
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and fit
  • Manage candidate communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process
  • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate recruiting and onboarding experience
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular, accurate reports on recruitment activity
  • Possess a strong business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into targeted recruitment strategies

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Proven track record of hiring top technical, sales, and corporate talent
  • Knowledge of the latest and emerging recruitment technologies and tools
  • Ability to leverage creative sourcing strategies to locate hard-to-find talent
  • Experience with understanding, explaining, and assessing for technical capabilities
  • Ability to effectively communicate with hiring managers and candidates
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment initiatives simultaneously
  • Positive attitude with a high level of initiative, solution-mindset and accountability
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field or equivalent in experience
  • Experience working in a Technology or SaaS platform company a plus
  • Experience using Greenhouse, Lever, or similar ATS a plus
