Under the general supervision of the Associate Director for Program Development, the Marketing/Promotion Assistant will provide marketing and administrative support to the Latin American and Iberian Institute. The candidate will assist in the production of the Annual Report and with website updates. Other responsibilities include updating our digital repository; maintaining monthly analytics for YouTube, Facebook, and Vamos a Leer blog; supporting our Greenleaf scholars; and creating and maintaining marketing files, records, logs, and other documentation. This is a temporary, 0.50 FTE position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist in the production of the LAII Annual Report.
2. Update information on the website and digital repository.
3. Record monthly analytics for Youtube, Facebook, and Vamos a Leer. 
4. Support LAII’s Greenleaf scholars, particularly with the promotion of their research and event coordination.
5. Assist with the creation of flyers.
6. Help create and maintain marketing files, records, logs, and other documents.
7. Other job-related duties as assigned.
