Job Summary

Collects fees or payments from customers purchasing goods or services. Prepares appropriate documentation to record transactions.

Responsibilities

  1. Helps with event operations such as ticket selling, will call, and customer service.
  2. Counts money collected during shift, balances it with tickets or items sold, and submits to supervisor for review.
  3. Provides directions and answers general questions about Stadium and Arena events.
  4. May assist at special events outside of athletic events.
  5. May perform clerical tasks such as answering phones, responding to mail, or filing.
  6. Cleans work area by sweeping floors, wiping off machines and counters.

Minimum Qualifications

Six months cashiering experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), basic mathematical skills, and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required.
