SalarySalary Range: up to $26,000 annualized based on a 20 hour work-week, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
This is a benefits eligible, temporary, grant funded position, contingent upon funding availability.Hours per WeekExempt Position: 20 hours per week.

Essential FunctionsFunction:
To provide oversight and administrative responsibility in the implementation and operation of a project in collaboration with The City of San Antonio.
Scope:
Manage and coordinate complex administrative projects or activities that require a high degree of specialized knowledge. Conducts research, provides data, makes recommendations, and implements solutions to achieve project goals and objectives.
Typical:
- Monitors and evaluates the project performance.
- Coordinate the collection, analysis and distribution of data.
- Assist in the formulation and writing of new or amended rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Perform for timely and economic utilization of resources assigned to the project.
- Formulate groups for project teams and trains project personnel.
- Inform upper management on the current status of all project tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Periodic:
- Manages project, program and activity budgets.
- Assists in the development of grant proposals and management of grants
- Manages engagement opportunities including communication, regular outreach efforts, and scheduling.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Additional experience may substitute for education on a one for one basis.
- Five years of experience in planning or a related business field.
- Additional education may substitute for experience on a one for one basis.
- Proficiency using personal computer and standard office equipment.
- Criminal Background Check (CBC).
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree from an accredited institution.
- Similar experience in higher education.
- Experience in the development of grant proposals and management of grants.
Working Conditions- This position will work from both the UTSA Main Campus and designated City of San Antonio office.
Work Modality:- Hybrid - Occasionally: Primarily works remotely, but may work on campus on an infrequent basis (approximately four days or less per month). Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility. Applicants must be adaptable and open to working in both environments.
