Essential Functions
Function:
Assist the Men's Basketball team with the videotaping of athletic events to include various multimedia productions and assist coaching staff will all videos needs for scouting, recruiting, training, etc.
Scope:
Responsible for all aspects of media creation, including videography, graphic creations, nonlinear editing, research, and writing of media materials.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, with training in the area of television or film
• One year experience working in a video or multimedia environment
• Able to carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds per unit
• Familiarity with standard equipment used in the production of television, film, video or slide/tape programs
• Criminal Background Check (CBC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with major coursework/experience in television, film, communications, or directly related field.
• Two years experience working in a video or multimedia environment related to athletics.

Working Conditions
Usual:

• Office conditions, including working around equipment, working on location, and working in outside weather conditions.
• Work schedule includes evening and weekend hours to accommodate basketball and student-athletes schedules.

Special:

• Exposure to electrical hazards associated with audio and video equipment.

This position will be primarily located:
On Campus: Primary work location will be on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
