Position SummaryUnder general supervision, oversees, coordinates, and advises avariety of activities and programs associated with student campus life, toinclude the student government, campus-wide events, programming boards, andother related student programs. This position will advise ASUNM Student SpecialEvents (Concerts, Speakers, Comedians, Etc), ASUNM Arts & Crafts Studio,ASUNM Community Experience (Community Service), ASUNM Outreach and AppointmentsCommittee, and co-advise the ASUNM Elections Committee. This positioncoordinates campus-wide programs including: Friday Night Live, Welcome BackDays, Fiestas, Silent Lights, Lobo’s Got Talent, Spring Storm, Arts &Crafts Fair, Harry Potter Day, Star Wars Day, and more. It oversees oneprofessional staff member and a student marketing staff of two. This positionmust be willing to work nights and weekends.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Higher Education Administration or similar field
Experience advising college entertainment programming boards/committees
Experience advising college student government committees
Experience supervising staff/student staff
Experience developing and executing college campus-wide programs
Additional RequirementsThis position must be willing to work nights and weekends.
