APPLIED LANGUAGE INSTITUTE (ALI)
The Applied Language Institute (ALI) is UMKC’s intensive English program, offering comprehensive English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) instruction for academic, personal, or professional purposes as well as language acquisition and cross-cultural classes and seminars. The Business Support Specialist II position is responsible for the ALI’s finances, contracts, and promotional materials.
The ALI is a part of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS). The SHSS is home to ten departments and more than 25 academic degree options providing students with a curriculum that spans the arts, humanities, and social sciences. Our students leave the School of Humanities and Social Sciences with a thorough understanding of the world around them..
Key Responsibilities:
An Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Full time, benefit eligible staff position.
$16.23 - $20.00 per hour commensurate on education, experience, and internal equity.
