This position supports customers with technical matters relative to desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, applications, and related technology. Support includes specification, installations, and testing of computer systems, application software and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require direct interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. The position utilizes one-on-one consultancy with customers’ which may include traveling to remote locations for onsite support. The position’s responsibilities require independent analyses, communication, diagnoses, critical thinking, problem solving and excellent soft skills. This position also requires progressive growth of IT knowledge as technology platforms change and improve. Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
* Two or more years of customer service experience
* Three to five years of experience with computer hardware and software technical problem solving experience
* Prior experience within a healthcare environment preferred
