Requires periods of sitting, standing, and walking. May require pushing a workstation on wheels up to 12 pounds.
Shift
20 – 24 hours per week.
Shifts available: Monday through Friday
11:00a – 3:00p or
5:00p-9:00p
Hires will be cross-trained for both Chandler and Good Sam ED Registration areas. Rotating holiday.
On-call staff may have the opportunity to advance to a full time position if desired. On-call positions is a great way to get your foot in the door at UKHC ED Registration Department. Possibilities are unlimited.
Job Summary
Position includes the following:
  • Arriving and Updating/Registration of Emergency Department patients
  • Copay/payment collection at time of service
  • Customer Service
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
High level of keyboarding accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations and provide excellent customer service. Ability to effectively prioritize work. Must have schedule flexibility.

Preferred Education/Experience
Prior patient registration experience preferred. Customer service background such as retail, call center, hospitality, etc., also very helpful.
