Student Advocacy & Community seeks a reliable student assistant to assist the Center for Student Advocacy & Community in its departmental mission of serving first-generation, First Time In College (FTIC), low-income, and other underserved groups at UHD.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be available to work 20 hours a week, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Must have the ability to multi-task and interact professionally with staff, faculty, and students
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must be well-organized, responsible, punctual, and a self-starter
- Must have good people skills and a professional attitude and appearance
- Must have effective verbal/written communication skills
- Perform opening and closing procedures and follow all UHD emergency procedures
- Must be a current UHD student
- Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher
