** Job Opening Summary**

Plans, coordinates, orients, trains, supervises and disciplines the work of all production employees to include the following areas: production, salad preparation, bakery and pot washing. Performs quality checks on prepared foods to ensure compliance with quality control standards. Assists Manager, Production Systems by directing and monitoring staff performance.

** Job Opening Qualifications**

**Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Ability to read, speak, write, do simple calculations, understand and follow written and oral instructions.

* Five years of experience in institutional/hospital foodservices working with large quantity recipes, major foodservice equipment and varied food preparation techniques.

* Two years of supervisory experience.

* On-the-job training also is provided.

* Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities, be familiar with required seasonings and cooking techniques, and know names and contents of various food type dishes.

* Must be able to make simple estimates relative to amount of product required, number of persons needed to prepare, and length of time needed to prepare.

***** Minimum Pay Rate -** Hourly: $13.55

***** Midpoint Pay Rate -** Hourly: $16.18
