At UConn Health this grant funded position will work with research team on a study of older adults receiving home and community based services. The primary task of this position involves interviewing research participants who receive services through Connecticut Department of Social Services/Medicaid programs for older adults about their goals of care.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Recruitment of participants for interviews, surveys or other research activities.
Conduct telephone and in person interviews of research participants
Data collection and entry.
Review data to ensure accuracy and work with team to analyze data
Use of project's web based data tracking system.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Master's degree in the appropriate discipline (e.g. Public Health, Gerontology, Social Work or related discipline)
Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
Must have attention to details and follow through
Proven ability to work independently
Willingness to travel statewide to complete in- person interviews
Reliable car for travel to in-person interviews within Connecticut

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience recruiting for and conducting interviews with research participants
Experience working with older adults and their families
Experience with the Internet, Outlook, Word Excel,PowerPoint, Access and REDCap
 HOURLY RATE: $26.79
Â
Schedule: 40 hrs/wk, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm with a 30 minute unpaid meal break
**********Some evening and weekend hours required. Must be flexible to change hours as project and interview schedules require.*************Â
