DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
POSITION SUMMARY

Benefits Analyst 2 will review and process a backlog of over 700 survivor claims for one-time payments in order to expedite payments and assist with data clean up.
Closing backlog cases will assist in the implementation of the new Survivor tool Benet.Required Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in an analytical role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and deliver results within tight timelines and fast turnarounds; able to proof and audit for accuracy. Experience in pension administration or benefits benefits preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Willingness to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Exemplary verbal, written, change communication and presentation skills; able to work in a highly collaborative manner and formulate a clear point of view
  • Able to work with strong personalities and different work styles while remaining calm, tactful, courteous and respectful under pressure
  • Must have an innovative and positive self-directed attitude
Education
  • High School diploma and 2 years of progressively responsible experience in job elated area
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary: $32.47/ hour
