Summary of Job Duties
1.Develop and teach specialized training programs which require a working knowledge of current industrial maintenance theory and practice, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motor drive, industrial electricity, programmable logic controller, and other advanced manufacturing functions.
Other industrial, mechanical, electrical or chemical classes could be included, depending on experience of chosen applicant.
2. Assist in coordination of Business and Industry Center classes, events, and outreach.
3.Deliver training as needed including off-campus offerings, evenings, and weekends classes, as needed.
4.Attend training and obtain certifications needed to perform duties.
5.Responsible for maintaining safety in labs; including tools, and equipment.
6.Collaborate with internal UA-PTC departments, external workforce development entities, and industry representatives to address current and emerging workforce education needs within the College’s service area.
8.Actively serve on college committees.
9.Actively participate in community relations events to represent the College.
10.Aid in selections, implementation and utilization of programs determined by industry partners.
11.Update and maintain lab equipment to industry standards.
12. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
1. Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Qualifications :
Minimum : Working knowledge of current industrial maintenance theory and practice, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motor drive, industrial electricity, programmable logic controller, and other advanced manufacturing functions.
Preferred : Applied engineering technologies (industrial, mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineer technologist)
3.Teaching experience preferred.

Salary Information : $50,000 annually
